Sandbars Raw Bar & Grill, now under new ownership, is often touted as one of the best places to enjoy for happy hour and beyond. Executive Chef Mark Shafer and Manager and co-owner Jennifer Beal, have worked hard to reestablish Sandbars as a restaurant that served quality fresh food in a friendly accommodating atmosphere. If you haven’t tried them since their grand reopening earlier in 2017, don’t wait! They are conveniently located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills in the Dare Center (next to Food Lion).

Sand Bars offers a fantastic selection of fresh shrimp, oysters, clams & combo plates as well as burgers and steaks, sandwiches, chicken, salads and more for both lunch and dinner. They feature an ever changing menu for daily specials – seeking out the freshest, local & regional seafood available. Fine selection of wine with a wide array of beers on tap including, Fat Tire, Yuengling Lager, Stella Artois, Sweetwater 420 EPA, Landshark Lager and Shock-Top.
